Dan's 1976 MGB

I bought a float charger at Harbor Freight for less than $8! Pretty good deal, assuming it works! I have it hooked up through my work light for now, since I have no power close enough to the car for the cord to reach. I will probably run a power cord across the garage to the outlet on the wall next to the house.

Ok, after replacing the battery (and the positive battery cable clamp, which fell off when removing the old battery) the B is now running again, although starting continues to be problematic - kind of stutters and pauses as the starter turns. I'm down to about 1/4 of a tank of gas, so think I can take it and fill it up with high-test, see if that clears up the running at all. I have sourced a Z-S rebuild kit, so I will remove and rebuild that carb over the winter.
