Dan's 1976 MGB

Had about an hour to squeeze in a little time yesterday - so I unhooked the speedometer drive and the reverse light switch, and also unbolted the clutch slave cylinder. The last item to do is the starter wiring, but I have to get the starter cover off first. It's a hard rubber cover intended to protect the starter motor from dirt and grime. It did it's job, as the cover is covered with oil and dirt (and grime too) so I can't grip it to remove it. There are apparently two notches that have to be lifted outward. The recommendation I got is to cut it off, but I think I want to try and save it, as it's NLA in the catalogs and seems to have done it's job well.
