Dan's 1976 MGB

Got a little done last night - figured out how the remove the cable to the heater valve, took off the distributor cap, unplugged the alternator and realized that I will have to take off the oil hose after all - there are several electrical wires wrapped around it. Also removed the preheater for the carb and the heat shield. I guess I need to remove the alternator as well, hadn't really thought about that. That will also decrease the engine weight by about 15 pounds!

Need to start calling around to see where I can rent a hoist.
